Frozen Mint Lemonade
Quick and easy, and enjoyed by all ages. This is a great healthy alternative to those frozen slushies with their artificial colors and flavors. (For an adults-only party, it also makes a great cocktail; just add 2 oz. of vodka or rum.)
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups water
- 3 cups ice cubes
Instructions
- 1Blend lemon juice, sugar, and mint until leaves are finely chopped. Add water and ice to blender, and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
- 2Variations: Try adding small amounts of any fruits you have on hand, such as strawberries, raspberries, watermelon, etc. Each will give a different tasty flavor!
