A member of the pepper family and not at all related to the big rubber plants, this is a lovely foliage plant with round waxy leaves and strange flowering spikes. It grows easily, and will adjust to everything from steamy greenhouses to dry windowsills. It does fine with only indirect light. This species has been recommended as a "clean air houseplant" to remove formaldehyde from indoor air. Peperomia actually comes from the American tropics. It occurs in dense damp tropical hardwood forests and warm sheltered sloughs inside swamps on the Caribbean islands and in South Florida. This species is considered an endangered species in the wild, but our plants are the grandchildren of nursery stock, many generations removed from the wild. Peperomia likes high humidity and moist soil, but not wet feet. Drench when the soil surface gets dry, but hold off a little longer in the winter when the plant is not in active growth.

Tink's Beef Briskets are smaller than traditional briskets. They weigh between 1 and 2 lbs. I use a marinade of 1/3 cup of lemon juice, 1/2 cup of oil, 1/4 cup of tarragon vinegar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp sugar, lots of minced garlic. Mix the marinade in a Ziploc freezer bag. Place 2 onions sliced thin and 3 carrots sliced thin, the brisket and marinade in bag and seal tightly. Place in baking dish and refrigerate overnight or longer. Turning it a few times to marinate evenly. When you are ready to cook, place brisket, veggies and marinade in baking dish. Seal it tightly with foil. Roast in the oven at 350 degree, until fork tender. Let it sit before slicing. Cut it across the grain..pour marinade and veggies over meat to serve.

The best roast you can buy is a Brisket Devonshire roast --Tender and because it is Devon beef you do not have to cook it but about 1/2 as long as other roast because they do not have all the fat most grass fed beef have, out meat comes from grass fed Devonshire Beef never any steroids or additives are given to the cattle just good grass and a relaxing restful pasture to live in. Roast are 1 pack approx. 2 to 3 pounds
