Runtstead Gardens

Runtstead Gardens is an oversized home garden that one day would like to become a homestead—time permitting! Currently, we have a large vegetable garden, dozens of fruit trees, berries and nuts of all sorts, laying hens, and milk goats. We stay busy with graduate school, but grown what we are able to in the meantime. All of our produce is grown without synthetic chemicals.

We also love our soil—which is a washed-out old cotton farm. Composted manure from our goats has helped build our soil over the years.
