The land we are currently on was allowed to go fallow for thirty-two years before we brought chooks back to it three years ago. No chemicals, additives or hormones are fed to our animals. They are allowed to forage at will and have destroyed what once was an herb garden as, apparently, it&#8217;s the most phenomenal place to take a dust bath. Ever.</p>
