These are bare-root plants, fresh dug, ready to be planted. Unlike June bearing strawberries, everbearing strawberries produce fruit throughout the growing season, except during the hottest part of the summer. Start a strawberry bed or plant amongst your existing garden plants where they will receive adequate sunshine. No sunshine no fruit. Plant, remove first flowers that appear, keep well watered, then enjoy fresh strawberries until frost. I will happily answer any questions about strawberry cultivation.

Red Gauntlet is a continuous fruiting strawberry. It will produce summer through autumn if given full sun, easy draining, lightly acidic soil and plenty of water during production. Berries are a glossy light red, medium, heart-shaped, tart and aromatic. You can continue your production through the cool months by protecting them in a low "hoop house" (aka: vegnet) over your strawberry bed.

Red Gauntlet is a continuous fruiting strawberry. It will produce summer through autumn if given full sun, easy draining, lightly acidic soil and plenty of water during production. Berries are a glossy light red, medium, heart-shaped, tart and aromatic. Strawberry cultivar ‘Chandler’ (Fragaria x ananassa) is a June-bearing fruit originating in California but is well-adapted to the southern states Its harvest that can last up to 3-4 weeks and under optimal growing conditions, each Chandler strawberry plant can produce a basket of strawberries. They need full sun, well-drained soil and a pH of about 6.0. They are susceptible to root rot and absolutely must have well-drained soil. The strawberries vary from being long and wedge-shaped to large and conical. They are a brilliant red color, glossy, and have an exceptional flavor profile. 'Chandler' strawberry plants generally grow 6-8" tall and 12" across, are shallow-rooted, and benefit from pine needle or straw mulch. They can be grown as a "mat", but higher yields are gained growing them singly under plastic or in a raised bed.

This baby-leafed Swiss Chard is ready to be steamed to perfection for your dinner table. Don't like it steamed? Any way you fix it, we know you will enjoy it. Swiss chard is packed with nutrition. It is an excellent source of vitamins C, E, and K, carotenes, chlorophyll, and fiber. It is also an excellent source of several minerals including potassium, magnesium, iron, and manganese. Swiss chard also has other nutrients including vitamin B6, protein, calcium, thiamine, selenium, zinc, niacin, and folic acid. PREPARATIONS: •Mature chard leaves and stalks are typically cooked, braised or sautéed; the bitter flavor fades with cooking. However, antioxidant properties of chard are significantly decreased on steaming, frying and boiling. •Silverbeet pie, with pistachio, raisins, cheese stuffing (filling) is a favorite in Italian and Mediterranean regions.

This order of Swill Chard is for the larger-leaf. Had to take a week off, and it grew while I was gone. Most leaves will be a variety of Red veined/leaved, but there will be sproatic white/green and maybe yellow leaves as well. Swiss chard is packed with nutrition.
