Our inventory is based on an approximate, but there is a chance we have more milk to bring depending on our farm pick-ups. Please read our farm description for details about our raw milk and jersey cows. We started our dairy less than a year ago with two jersey cows and now have grown our herd to five jersey cows. Our cows are on pasture the entire day supplemented with rolls of hay and alfalfa in the winter when grass is limited and a free choice mineral block. We do give them a small portion of grain when we bring them in to milk and that is it. We do use a mechanical pump system to keep out any impurities and double filter the milk. The cream makes up almost the top half of the gallon. This milk is labeled for "Pet Consumption" as that is the only way to sell raw milk in Ga. We do not sell any milk that is older than three days, and since this milk is not processed in any way it will keep for approximately 8-10 days then it will sour. We recommend to maintain the temperature as cold as possible both while transporting and in the coldest spot in the refrigerator, as the fluctuation of temperature will cause it to sour quicker.
