These gourds were grown in Summer 07 for a school art project. Plans fell through, so they have been stored in a protected part of the porch ever since. Have the equipment, but no time to do anything with them myself, so I'm offering them to others. They do have mold colonies over the surface, which could add to the artistic appeal, or you could just sand them, cover with white paint and seal them. The fragile ones have already broken, so these remaining gourds should be strong enough for a crafter's needs. Let me know if you have specifics as far as size and shape, otherwise I will chose one at random. The smallest are the length of a man's hand and the largest are double that. These gourds belong to the lagenaria group which includes the Martin or Birdhouse, Bottle and Dipper gourds. They produce white blossoms that bloom at night.
