Sweetgum Valley Farm

Sweetgum Valley Farm was established on 5 acres in Statham, GA in 2014. Our current focus is growing vegetables and some fruit, with plans for eggs, honey, and more fruits in the future. We also make soaps using saponified oils and only essential oils for fragrance.

We do not use any synthetic chemicals on our farm. Our primary defenses against pests are companion planting and hand picking. We use organic pesticides, such as Bt, soap spray, and neem oil very sparingly. We nourish the soil with compost and organic fertilizers, such as alfalfa meal and bone meal.
