We began growing food about 14 years ago and always have an abundance every year that goes to waste. We’re a family farm who believes in using natural methods of fertilizing and pest control, heirloom only. My Mom and our two children, aged 6 and 12 help on the farm.
In the winter months I find myself in the produce section of the grocery store not wanting to purchase anything at all. You can look at the fruit and vegetables and it’s obvious that all of it is nutritionally deficient. So that is why we’ve decided to plant more than ever before and share the harvest this time by selling whatever fruits, herbs and vegetables we have too much of.
This year we have a 3600 sq ft garden and eight raised beds. We plan to have a big variety to offer this year. In the future, we expect to settle into a few specific crops for sale, but this year, we just have a really big garden!
