Rightlight Garlic

Our garlic growing was born out of a need to grow something that deer were not interested in on new ground with no fence. After some research, garlic seemed to be the answer.

We grow about 8 to 10 different garlics, keeping those that do well for us in our climate and soil.

Garlic is a low maintenance plant that survives very well in natural soil conditions and laughs at cold weather.

We are a non certified grower, using a seaweed/fish emulsion foliar spray from March to June once a month. Well composted manure is the only ammendment used , and polwed in after harvest in the early summer. Garlic beds grow garlic and brassicaes only.

We have seed stock of all our Garlics, as well a “kitchen garlic” and elephant garlic for roasting.
